Eric Shan and Cameron Raglin Join 7wire Ventures

Eric Shan and Cameron Raglin

7wire Ventures is excited to welcome Eric Shan as an Associate, and Cameron Raglin as a Senior Associate, to our growing Chicago team. Eric and Cameron will be instrumental in driving our investments across digital health and technology-enabled healthcare businesses, and working closely with our portfolio companies to foster growth and innovation.

Eric joins 7wire from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he completed three years of medical training. Alongside his clinical education, he also built experience in digital health and early-stage investing, working with funds including Flare Capital Partners, Springbank, Redpoint Ventures, and Rock Health Capital. Earlier in his career, Eric was a Quantitative Researcher at Meta, where he used causal inference, experimental analysis, and machine learning to study user privacy. Eric holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School.

“My time in medical school gave me a front-row seat to both the promise and the limitations of our healthcare system. Caring for patients made it clear to me that technology, done right, has the potential to meaningfully improve how people access and experience care. I’m excited to join 7wire and work alongside a team that shares that conviction — partnering with entrepreneurs who are building the tools and services that can make a real difference for health consumers.”

Prior to joining 7wire Ventures, Cameron was an early- and growth-stage healthcare investor at F-Prime Capital, where he partnered with founders from first meeting through scaling — sourcing new investments, leading diligence & deal execution, and supporting portfolio companies as they grew. Before his time at F-Prime, Cameron was a Consultant at Bain & Company, where he advised healthcare executives and private equity investors on strategy and M&A across a range of healthcare sectors. Cameron holds a B.A. in History from Amherst College, where he also completed the pre-medical curriculum.

“Ever since I was young, I’ve been drawn to healthcare. Watching my grandfather battle chronic kidney disease – and seeing the toll it took on him and our family – shaped my desire to help build a system that delivers high-quality, accessible care for everyone.

I am thrilled to join 7wire Ventures and contribute to its mission of empowering the Informed, Connected Health Consumer through innovative digital health investments. Healthcare is at a pivotal moment. While artificial intelligence (AI) is fundamentally reshaping how we access, navigate, and experience care, an equally powerful shift is underway — the re-consumerization of healthcare and a renewed focus on putting the patient at the center. I’m excited to work alongside the talented 7wire team to partner with entrepreneurs building transformative companies and driving meaningful improvements in health outcomes.”

We couldn’t be more excited to have Cameron and Eric joining the 7wire team. Their commitment to building a better healthcare system is exactly the spirit that drives everything we do at 7wire — we’re thrilled to have them alongside us!
